Who Can Access It

The Evolution of ABA's Burn Care Quality Platform

The ABA’s Burn Care Quality Platform (BCQP) is more than a data system. It’s a complete quality infrastructure that empowers burn centers to improve care through better data. Developed in partnership with BData, the platform was designed to solve a long-standing challenge: ensuring data consistency, usability, and meaningful insight across a diverse and evolving network of burn centers.

Historically, burn centers contributed data to the ABA’s National Burn Repository (NBR) using their own systems, creating variations in quality and format. BCQP addresses these gaps by offering a unified, cloud-based data collection, governance, and analytics system. For centers still using legacy registry software, BCQP provides an analytics-only option that allows full access to reports and insights without requiring a platform switch.
