Evaluates and treats patients for Occupational Therapy needs. Develop treatment plans based on assessment. Under the general supervision of the lead Therapist, functions as a staff therapist. Patient populations served: infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric for a variety of diagnosis to include but not limited to: neurologic, orthopedic, post-surgical, pediatric, medically complex, inpatient or outpatient throughout the hospital system.

- Established in 2020, The South Carolina Burn Center at MUSC Health is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of board-certified burn surgeons, critical care specialists, nurses, rehabilitation therapists and support staff. The team is prepared to respond 24/7 to burn emergencies and mass casualty events and offers long-term recovery services, including reconstructive surgery, psychosocial support and return-to-work planning. The South Carolina Burn Center achieved ABA verification for both adult and pediatric burn care in 2025.
- Requirements
- A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current South Carolina licensure and NBCOT certification required. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required. New graduates or less than 1-year applicable experience.
