- About the Fellowship:
 - The UChicago Burn Surgery program is a non-ACGME fellowship covering all aspects of burn care including acute surgery, reconstructive surgery, burn critical care and rehabilitation. The UChicago Burn Center is verified by the ABA for both adult and pediatric patients and is affiliated with our Level 1 Trauma Center. Opportunities exist for research and the fellow will be expected to attend the annual ABA meeting. Applicants with strong interest in a career in burn care are encouraged to apply.
 
How to Apply
Applicants must be eligible for full IL licensure & have completed 3 years in a general or plastic surgery residency in good standing, with preference to those who have completed residency. Interested candidates should submit the following by Feb 1, 2025: 1. Letter of Intent 2. Current CV 3. Three letters of recommendation (one from most recent program director) 4. USMLE transcripts 5.
